Greystones Dermatology provides specialised care for a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions, as well as mole assessment, skin cancer detection and management, and minor skin surgery.
Led by Dr Joachim Jansen, the clinic provides personalised dermatology care in a welcoming and professional environment. Dr Jansen's approach combines careful clinical assessment with clear, practical advice, helping patients understand their condition and the treatment options available to them.
His particular clinical interests include skin cancer detection and management, mole assessment and dermoscopy, general dermatology, hair loss and scalp disorders. Dr Jansen makes use of high resolution equipment and skin visualisation technology to analyse the skin in order to make early and accurate diagnosis.

Dr Jansen completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University in 2016. He further developed his surgical skills through the British Society for Dermatological Surgery's Annual Surgery Workshop in 2021 and 2023, followed by mentorship in skin flap reconstruction from Professor Richard Motley and other experienced dermatological surgeons.
Earlier in his career, Dr Jansen worked closely with Professor Michael Bouckaert, a maxillofacial surgeon at the Medical University of South Africa, where he gained extensive surgical experience and developed a detailed understanding of facial anatomy.
In 2022, Dr Jansen obtained Associate Membership of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery. He subsequently became a member of the International Dermoscopy Society and was awarded a Dermoscopy Diploma of Excellence in 2023. He has also recently completed training in paediatric dermoscopy.
